Verizon will be the first wireless carrier to offer Samsung’s new flagship 5G smartphone— the Galaxy S10 5G— available in the first half of 2019 when Verizon’s mobile 5G network goes live, though exact timing has not been announced.
Availability will expand this summer to to other carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Xfinity Mobile. The device cost has not been disclosed.
The S10 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 platform combined with the Snapdragon X50 modem to support multi-gigabit connectivity.
The 5G smartphone features a large 6.7 inch curved Cinematic Infinity Display and six lenses— four rear cameras, including Samsung’s 3D Depth Camera 3D-image capturing for realistic augmented reality apps.
The S10 5G has a boosted 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W Super Fast Charging. At Verizon, it will be offered in Prismatic Silver and a Titan Gray color, the latter which is exclusive to Verizon.

At its Unpacked event in San Francisco, Samsung also unveiled a new highly anticipated smartphone that sports a foldable screen, as well as additional new Galaxy S10 phones.
